Project Overview

BRAC University Teacher Appraisal System is an anonymous teacher evaluation and rating platform built for BRAC University. At the end of each semester, students can give honest feedback on their course instructors while their identity stays completely hidden.

Students log in with private credentials and one-way cryptographic tokens that cannot be traced back to them, so there is no fear of bias or comeback on grades. That gives honest, open feedback, and department chairs and university leaders get useful insight they can act on.

Mohammed Tajul Islam architected anonymized evaluation schemas, secure role-based access controls, and institutional analytics pipelines:

Privacy-Preserving Private ID Authentication: Designed a login where students use private credentials that keep their identity record separate from their ratings, so anonymity is 100% guaranteed.
Anti-Tampering & Single-Submission Tokens: Built zero-knowledge one-time tokens so each enrolled student can submit exactly one appraisal per instructor. Duplicate votes are impossible, and nothing points back to the student.
Multi-Dimensional Appraisal Framework: Designed evaluation forms that cover teaching methods, how clear the course material is, punctuality, fairness in grading, responsiveness, and open-ended comments.
Departmental Analytics & Reporting Portal: Built live reporting dashboards for Department Chairs and Deans to follow faculty ratings, trends and performance, without ever seeing who the students are.
SIS & Roster Synchronization: Connected the system to BRAC University's course databases, so it automatically picks up which students are taking which course with which teacher each semester.

The Teacher Appraisal System greatly increased student participation, because students no longer fear reprisal and know their answers are confidential.
